5. Purposes of the collection
We use your personal information for a number of essential purposes. First, to provide and manage our Services, which includes creating and managing accounts, profiles, missions, payments, and communications. Second, to facilitate connections between talents and businesses. Thirdly, to ensure the security of the site, prevent fraud, and protect users. Finally, we use this information to communicate with you, to inform you of updates, new features, and relevant offers, and to provide you with the opportunity to opt out of these communications.
6. Legal bases for the treatment
We process your information only with your explicit consent (for example, when creating an account, applying or sending communications), for the performance of a contract (such as an assignment between a talent and a company), to comply with a legal obligation (fiscal, accounting, compliance), or based on our legitimate interest, in particular to improve our Services or ensure their security.

They can also be shared with our technology providers (hosting, payment, data analysis, customer service), to the extent necessary for the provision of their services. We may also communicate them to the competent authorities when required by law or to prevent illegal activities. Finally, in the event of a merger or acquisition, you will be informed in advance of any data sharing. We want to make it clear that we do not sell your personal information. All external service providers must comply with contractual confidentiality and security obligations equivalent to our standards.
9. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and as required by law or to defend our rights in the event of a dispute. At the end of this period, the data is securely deleted or anonymized.
10. Information security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including communication encryption (TLS/SSL), access management and enhanced authentication, and regular backups and monitoring. Our secure servers are located in Canada or in jurisdictions recognized as adequate by Canadian law. However, no system is tamper-proof, so we encourage you to adopt best practices, such as using strong passwords and being careful when sharing information. In the event of a security incident presenting a serious risk, we will notify you according to legal requirements, in particular those of Bill 25 in Quebec.
